To see the Kingdom of God, one must be born again, not through another physical birth, but through the Spirit. The message of salvation runs from the Old Covenant, where the Israelites looked to the bronze serpent for life, to the New Covenant, where all who look to Christ crucified find forgiveness and eternal life. It is not religion or knowledge that brings entry into God's Kingdom, but trusting the Son whom the Father sent. Those who turn to Him move from death to life, from being out to being in, fully forgiven and made new by His Spirit.
