Hearing His Voice

Many Christians feel a lack of power after their initial conversion, much like having a promising car repeatedly breaking down. Jesus addresses this by teaching that true discipleship is proven by abiding in His Word, especially when faced with disillusionment. This personal relationship is the promise of the New Covenant, where all of God's people can hear His voice and know Him personally. This foundational assurance, born from a personal call from God, is then nurtured and strengthened as we continue to live in His truth. After coming to Christ, learn to seek His power and fellowship through His word and by calling on the Holy Spirit to empower you.

Who is it, that is Speaking to You?

The Gospel is the good news that calls out to people to come and be reconciled to God through the death, Resurrection and Ministry of Jesus Christ. Those that respond become a part of God's Church. This is not merely a message about Christ, but Christ Himself speaking to us, just as He spoke to the woman at the well. When we realise who it is that is speaking to us, then we too would ask Him for the living water! We are drawn into a true fellowship, not only with other believers, but with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ. He stands at the door and knocks, inviting each person who hears His voice to open the door and enter into this deep, personal fellowship with Him.

Can These Bones Live?

The central message of the Scriptures is the heart of God seeking the lost, a truth pictured in the parables of Luke 15 and the prophecy of Ezekiel 37. This passage of the valley of dry bones holds a dual meaning: it is a literal promise of the future restoration of the nation of Israel, and it is a powerful illustration of each of our own spiritual journeys. God calls us from spiritual death to life, not just to an intellectual belief, but to a personal, saving relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, who is present and actively seeking fellowship with us.
